This show features paintings by the most significant American painters, including Albert Bierstadt, Ralph Albert Blakelock, Charles Burchfield, Frederic Edwin Church, Thomas Cole, Sanford Robinson Gifford, Childe Hassam, Martin Johnson Heade, John Frederick Kensett, George Luks, John Marin, Thomas Moran, William Trost Richards, John Sloan, Worthington Whittredge, and Andrew Wyeth, alongside other talents of the period.
