Today Leslie Hindman Auctioneers, the largest auction house in the Midwest, announced the opening of a new auction facility in Naples, Florida, located at 1300 Third Street South. The addition of a Florida location will enable Leslie Hindman Auctioneers to better serve Florida clients with the sale of their property, appraisal services and regularly scheduled auctions. An invitation-only opening party will be held February 3 to celebrate the new location.

“Many of our longtime clients winter or live year round in Florida, specifically the Southwest region, so Naples is an ideal location for a satellite office,” said Leslie Hindman, President and CEO of Leslie Hindman Auctioneers. “One of our goals is to serve our Midwestern clients' needs as well as cultivate relationships with new clients who are interested in consigning.”

Leslie Hindman Auctioneers is a full service auction house and industry leader with over thirty years of experience. The auction house is internationally known as a key player in the global auction market with a team of professionals conducting forty sales a year specializing in Fine Jewelry and Timepieces, 18th, 19th, and 20th Century Paintings, Furniture and Decorative Arts, Fine Books and Manuscripts, and Vintage Couture and Accessories.

The Naples facility will serve as both an office and event destination for regular appraisal fairs and auctions, and will be fully supported by Hindman's renowned specialists. On February 15–17th gemologist Alexander Eblen will visit the Naples office for a complimentary consultation to review fine jewelry and timepieces. Additionally, during his visit the community is invited to attend a breakfast presentation titled: “Fine Jewelry and Timepieces in Today's Fluctuating Market: Current Valuations.” The breakfast will be held February 15 at 10:00am.

Kristin Vaughn and Maura Ross will oversee Leslie Hindman's Florida operations. Ms. Vaughn, a six-year Southwest Florida resident, will lead Business Development and Marketing. She brings a robust communications background to Leslie Hindman Auctioneers and previously was the Marketing Director for the art fair organizers of International Fine Art Expositions in Bonita Springs, Florida.

Ms. Ross will head Community Relations in the new Florida office. Before moving to Southwest Florida last year, she gained a solid foundation in Public Relations at her previous job working for Edelman, the PR giants, in their Washington D.C. office.  

Both Ms. Ross and Ms. Vaughn will work with private collectors, museums, institutions, and trust and estate professionals interested in selling fine art and to coordinate appraisal services.
