Barn Star Productions is pleased to announce the Autumn Hartford Antiques Show will be returning to the Connecticut Expo Center for its second annual event the weekend of October 30 & 31, 2010.

The show which debuted last October continues the tradition of Hartford shows started over 30 years ago presenting outstanding antiques dealers from New England and surrounding states who prepare for Hartford by saving their best and most interesting pieces to present at this show.

Comments show manager Frank Gaglio, “In 2009, our goal was to re-establish the Autumn Hartford Show and we did so in grand style. The Autumn Hartford show was very well received by collectors and dealers alike who enjoyed the mix of offerings and booth displays. We are working toward another successful show this time out and extend an invitation for everyone to join us”.

This year, our show will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association of Connecticut Chapter with a donation from gate proceeds that contributes to research and ultimately finding a cure for this devastating disease. Come support this volunteer organization by attending our show where more information will be available at our courtesy table.

We are also delighted the Florence Griswold House and Museum in Old Lyme, Connecticut, will be presenting a pictorial history of the famed Florence Griswold House where artists of the Lyme Art Colony lived and worked over 100 years ago. In addition, enjoy a selection of painted palettes by contemporary artists from across the country that decorate the Museum’s 12-foot tree each year during the Magic of Christmas Celebration, complimentary with admission. 

Throughout the two day show, we will be conducting “Knowledge is King” Booth Chats with selected exhibitors who will welcome you to their booths for a brief but enlightening talk about  their particular specialty. A schedule of chats and times will be available at the admission table and on the show program. Our show is mobility challenged friendly and there is a show café and shipper on the floor.
