Peace by Samir Sammoun

Artexpo New York

The 45th annual edition of Artexpo New York takes place at Pier 36 at 299 South Street in Manhattan, from Thursday, April 7 to Sunday, April 10.

The annual fine art destination will host more than 200 innovative exhibiting galleries, art publishers, dealers, and artists from around the world, across 70,000 square feet of uninterrupted convention space. Artexpo New York showcases the original and progressive work of 1000+ artists that includes prints, paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, ceramics, giclee, lithographs and glass works, among other contemporary and fine art.

Several Artexpo New York exhibitors have united to support the children of Ukraine giving their proceeds to the UNICEF Fund. From his personal experience as a child fleeing war in Lebanon, Samir Sammoun immediately thought of the children of Ukraine as they become refugees from their war-torn country. Sammoun will be creating a 24x36 oil on canvas painting throughout Artexpo New York, in his signature artistic style, entitled "Peace," depicting a special wheat field with a blue sky, using the colors of the Ukrainian flag (image shown). Sammoun will be donating 100% of the proceeds of this painting, and other special pieces on exhibit to UNICEF, an organization that is offering life-saving support for children in Ukraine.
