Lambertville, NJ: The PBS series Antiques Roadshow has invited Rago Auctions’ jewelry specialist Katherine Van Dell to join its roster of appraisers. She signs on to its 2016 Summer Tour in Salt Lake City in August.

Katherine is a graduate of The Tyler School of Art. Having discovered auction as a happy intersection of her interest in art history, aesthetics and the marketplace, Katherine joined Freeman’s in 2011. She managed the Freeman’s Main Line Office and worked closely with the jewelry department before joining Rago’s jewelry department in September of 2013. Katherine has been instrumental in the department’s growth, including the addition of two new jewelry auctions. She is a member of the American Society of Jewelry Historians and a candidate for the Graduate Gemologist degree from the Gemological Institute of America.

Also on the Antiques Roadshow Summer Tour are Rago specialists David Rago and Suzanne Perrault (Pottery & Porcelain), Sebastian Clarke (Decorative Arts, Furniture, Metalwork & Sculpture), Meredith Hilferty (Metalwork & Sculpture, Paintings & Drawings) and Sarah Churgin (Jewelry).
