Despite dreary weather and a dip in temperatures, Rau Antiques out-performed its sales expectations at the recent Antiques & Art at the Armory Show held in Manhattan from September 29 to October 3, 2010. 

With a stunning inventory of rare and museum-quality antiques, fine and decorative arts, New Orleans-based Rau Antiques finished as the front-runner in terms of the scope of its collection which covered three booths on the show floor, including a mercury gilded 1850's bedroom set belonging to Egyptian King Farouk and a 1570's era Renaissance cabinet matching the one owned by The Frick Collection museum.
