Daniel Silva, The Heist

The 14th suspense novel in Daniel Silva's series about an art restorer called Gabriel Allon starts in Lake Como, Italy, where a former British spy and suspected dealer in stolen art is murdered. A friend of Allon's becomes a suspect in the crime and Allon is called in by the Italian Art Squad to help solve the case. The plot twists, taking Allon from Italy to Syria, and the investigation snowballs from a search for a missing Caravaggio.
