Aspire Auctions February auction is host to a collection of 121 paintings, mostly from one collectior, to be sold this Thursday February 6th, starting at 10:00am. These range from fine portrait miniatures to large scale canvases, including Scottish Highland paintings, Race Horse portraiture, stunning pastorial scenes and Dutch style still lifes. There are Old Master engravings such as Hans Sebald Beham, a woodcut from Der Weisskunig, Adriaen Jansz van Ostade and Wenceslaus Hollar as well as a collection of antique and rare maps. Other categories in this auction include sculpture, Asian, art glass, silver and coins, jewelry, designer accessories, fine watches and carpets.
