AD ART SHOW 2022, all-Digital Art Exhibition Returns to the Iconic Oculus
Westfield World Trade Center in New York City May 1- 31, 2022.
AD ART SHOW, a unique experience in bringing art directly to the public, by transforming a monumental advertising platform — The Westfield Network — into a public gallery space for an entire month.
The artists of AD ART SHOW are following in the footsteps of famous artists such as Andy Warhol, Rene Magritte, and Keith Haring who also had commercial practices. Historically some artists have made the leap, but the barriers persist, and AD ART SHOW is continuing to throw the doors open for these talented creatives to gain additional exposure and recognition.
Call for Artists is opened through January 10, 2022. Access information and application here: https://www.mvvoart.com/
An MvVO Art initiative, AD ART SHOW combines the powerful engagement of a digital advertising medium with the experience of Art. It’s a winning combination of audience, Art, and platform, inside a popular shopping and dining destination.
Maria van Vlodrop, MvVO Art Founder, named top ten Cultural Shaper by ADWEEK commented, "Our mission is to provide AD ART SHOW artists with more exposure to the art world, art lovers, collectors and the public at large.
AD ART SHOW is a juried art exhibition, launched at Sotheby’s New York in February 2018 and now in its fourth year, featuring artworks by artists from around the world.
The venue for 2022 is the Oculus, designed by architect Santiago Calatrava, at the Westfield World Trade Center — one of the most famous architectural landmarks in New York City is a transportation plaza and shopping destination open to the public.
