“We initiated this alliance because it's about providing value to the exhibitors that are participating in the fair, and in the 21st century e-commerce is part of the broader connection to collectors in art world,” said EXPO CHICAGO President and Director Tony Karman. “It made sense to us to expand our presence past our website and allow exhibitors to also have the chance to work with Artspace and provide greater exposure for their program and their artists. So for us it was an easy decision, to make sure that we’re doing right by our exhibitors.”
Launched in March 2011, Artspace.com is the only platform where users can buy works by top contemporary artists directly from artist studios, leading commercial galleries and prestigious cultural institutions, including the Solomon R. Vroom, Co-Founder and Chairman of Artspace. “ EXPO CHICAGO is a must-see event on the international fair circuit and Artspace is proud to bring the fair to a global audience through the Artspace platform.”
