For its 53rd year, U.S. Antique Shows welcomes attendees and exhibitors back to The Original Miami Beach Antique Show, the world’s largest indoor antique show, which will be held Jan. 30 – Feb. 3, 2014 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. This must-attend event showcases 1,000 established dealers from across the globe, featuring Renaissance to Art Deco era collections such as fine art, American and European silver, antique jewelry, 17th-19th century furniture, and more.
To broaden its attendee base, this year’s show will also introduce a new collection of categories in the Miami Beach Convention Center’s Flamingo Ballroom, including antique weaponry, maps, and militaria. All show attendees are invited to explore the pieces featured.
U.S. Antique Shows is also a proponent of continuing antique jewelry education and will premiere The Original Miami Beach Antique Jewelry Series prior to the start of the show on Jan. 30. The jewelry conference, Jan. 28-29, will include educational sessions from notable jewelry experts as well as a complementary tour of the David Webb Exhibit at the Norton Museum of Art and the Vizcaya Museum & Gardens. For a complete conference schedule and details on registration costs, visit www.MiamiBeachAntiqueShow.com.
In order to continue with the show’s ongoing philanthropic community efforts, this year’s charity raffle will benefit Autism Speaks. The non-profit organization is the world leader in funding research and increasing awareness of the causes, prevention and treatments for autism, along with advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families. Raffle tickets will be available to win prizes including special antique pieces. The grand prize winner will receive a stainless steel Rolex Datejust watch donated by Raymond Lee Jewelers of Boca Raton, FL (Booth No. 3129). An additional winner will receive a pair of Miami Heat tickets from the Miami Herald. Raffle tickets can be purchased during the show at $25 each, five tickets for $100. All monies collected will benefit Autism Speaks, Inc.
“Raymond Lee Jewelers is honored to be a part of The Original Miami Beach Antique Show's raffle benefiting Autism Speaks. One of Raymond Lee Jewelers' core principles is giving back to our community, and Autism Speaks is one of our favorite organizations,” says Jeff Josephson, president of Raymond Lee Jewelers. “A Rolex was the perfect item to donate to the raffle, given its prestigious name, beautiful design and powerful movement. We hope this watch will generate excitement among attendees of the show and we wish everyone good luck!”
Show times are Thursday, Jan. 30 to Sunday, Feb. 2 from 12-8 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 3 from 12- 6 p.m. Admission is $20 to attend all five days. For more information about the show or to purchase tickets, call 239.732.6642 or visit www.MiamiBeachAntiqueShow.com.
