The LAA Presents: The 2019 New England Landscape Exhibition

The Lyme Art Association, at 90 Lyme Street in Old Lyme, Connecticut, will present the 2019 New England Landscape Exhibition, on view from September 27 through November 15, 2019, with an opening reception on Friday, October 4, from 5 - 7 pm.
“The 2019 New England Landscape Show focuses on the subject matter that inspired our founders, the Lyme Impressionists. Contented cows, bucolic pastures, and harbor scenes are popular subjects in this exhibition,” stated LAA’s Gallery Manager Jocelyn Zallinger. “Come visit us in our historic galleries and enjoy this highly anticipated exhibition.”
All exhibited work is for sale with a portion of proceeds benefitting the Lyme Art Association. From 5 pm on October 4 to 5 pm on October 5, artwork may be purchased tax-free.
About the Lyme Art Association The Lyme Art Association was founded in 1914 by the American Impressionists and continues the tradition of exhibiting and selling representational artwork by its members and invited artists, as well as offering art instruction and lectures to the community. The Lyme Art Association is located at 90 Lyme Street, Old Lyme, CT, in a building designed by Charles Adams Platt and located within the town’s historic district. Admission is free with contributions appreciated. Gallery hours are Wednesday through Sunday, 10 to 5 pm, or by appointment.
