The wonderful Cressman Center in downtown Louisville, Kentucky, has an exceptional – and very important – exhibition up now: Seeking Bob Thompson: Dialogue/Object. Bob Thompson (1937-1966) studied art at the University of Louisville in the 1950s under a Hite scholarship. He subsequently left Louisville for New York, where his talent was showcased in a Whitney Museum of American Art retrospective in 1998.
