The Center for Advanced Study in the Visual Arts (CASVA) at the National Gallery of Art has announced the appointments of members for the 2012–2013 academic year. They include Oskar Bätschmann, Schweizerisches Institut für Kunstwissenschaft, Zürich, as Samuel H. Kress Professor; independent scholar and curator Lynne Cooke as Andrew W.
