The classic Main Street scene in one of Norman Rockwell’s most recognizable paintings is dotted with a row of buildings still in existence, including the Red Lion Inn and a turreted Victorian, now called the 7 Arts Gift Shop. Set in a scenic Berkshire village, that circa-1870 shop has been listed for sale at $1,795,000.

Rockwell's beloved painting “Stockbridge Mainstreet at Christmas (Home for Christmas),” published in McCall’s magazine in 1967, hangs in the nearby Norman Rockwell Museum. Each year, Stockbridge residents recreate the painting, lining the street with vintage cars and Christmas tree.
