Google Art Project Gives Tour of the White House

The painting of George Washington by Gilbert Stuart that hangs in the East Room of the White House.

Google's got a gigapixel view of George Washington, as portrayed by Gilbert Stuart in the White House's art collection, to show the world.

Along with the famous portrait is nearly every other detail of art and antiques in the Presidential residence from the vantage of a street view cam.

As part of the Google Art Project, the White House tour is just one museum that visitors can meander and study online.
