Amyas Naegele Fine Art will be inaugurating a new gallery space on March 17th, 2011. The gallery is dedicated to featuring authentic tribal objects from Africa in an elegant setting that will also showcase works by contemporary western artists. Drawings by Houston artist Lisa Qualls will accompany traditional African textiles, masks and figures at the premier. A reception for the artist is to be held from 6-9pm on Thursday, March 17th. The gallery is located at 347 West 36th Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues on the first floor at the rear of the lobby. All are welcome.
