Theodore Wendel: True Notes of American Impressionism

Vose Galleries, in conjunction with The Artist Book Foundation, are pleased to invite you to an event celebrating the publication of Theodore Wendel: True Notes of American Impressionism by Laurene Buckley. Theodore Wendel was one of the first American artists to bring French Impressionism home to develop on native soil, and we are thrilled to help preserve and celebrate Theodore Wendel's artistic heritage with this publication.

Join us from 6 - 7 pm on Thursday, June 13th for a lecture on Wendel by Laurene Buckley at the St. Botolph Club (199 Commonwealth Avenue, Boston, MA 02116), followed by a short walk around the block to Vose Galleries (238 Newbury Street, Boston, MA 02116) for a book signing, reception, and viewing of Theodore Wendel's original work from 7 - 8 pm. With every book purchased at this event or directly through The Artist Book Foundation, another is donated to an underserved public library or school.

This event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP to Vose Galleries at (617) 536-6176 or info@vosegalleries.com to reserve a spot.
