It's All Request Cocktail time!

Neighbor Bob was the first Gentle Reader to send me a recipe for All Request Cocktails, and for this he will be receiving the original watercolor used in today's Fine Art Daily. If you want an original Fine Art Daily, send me a deelish cocktail recipe, perhaps with a little story so all the Gentle Readers will want to try it. This is the Annual Summer All Request Month. Get cracking!

Champagne Cocktail á la Bob

In a Champagne glass add a teaspoon of sugar and enough Angostura bitters to melt the sugar. Add a tablespoon of Grand Marnier or cognac and mix in with the sugar, bitters mix. Add a “fine” quality champagne and stir. Float a slice of thin orange on top.

Charles is bustling in the kitchen, he knows the Veuve Clicquot is in the fridge somewhere behind the Tall One's leftover pizza. Camilla is in the dining room, rummaging through the drinks cabinet looking for that old bottle of Grand Marnier she swears she gave to us for Christmas a couple of years ago. Best Beloved is winging his way to Australia today, and to honor his absence we have decided to have a LOST marathon. Three episodes down, 117 to go! Duke and Louis think the Champagne corks are lots of fun to retrieve out of the back yard!
