Frank Gaglio Inc. is pleased to announce a brand new antiques and fine art event for the community of Greenwich, Connecticut this December 14 through 16, 2012.
Antiques & Art Avant-Garde Greenwich will take center stage as a ground breaking fundraiser for two of Fairfield County’s most respected organizations, the Bruce Museum and Greenwich Historical Society.
Seeing the need for a quality antiques and art show incorporating an avant-garde twist, this new venture will combine classic antiques, mid century and modern design, fine art, magnificent jewelry and architectural objects in vogue with today’s top designers and their clients’ tastes.
Event manager Frank Gaglio comments, “It is my esteemed privilege to be working with such committed and talented individuals whose goal is to dedicate their time and energy toward making this new fundraiser a success. From our very first meeting, there was an energy and cascade of ideas all flowing in one positive direction rarely experienced at a time when every organization holds dearly to their benefactors. I look forward to our continued collaboration building our show for years to come”.
The event will launch with a “not to be missed” Preview Gala benefitting both organizations the evening of Friday, December 14 (tickets required) and will run through Saturday and Sunday December 15 & 16, 2012. There will also be special events programming including celebrity appearances from some of today’s top style makers and art and antiques experts.
The exhibitor roster will incorporate a “who’s who” of long time Greenwich favorites along with several new and exciting names. From marine art to majolica, fine silver to period furniture, mid century to modern, garden arcthitecturals to vintage designer handbags, the show will exceed all expectations.
Internationally known, Westport, Connecticut designer Lynne Scalo will add her brand and talent to the show by creating a display incorporating the theme “What’s Modern Now” melding antiques and art with lifestyle comforts we all can appreciate.
Antiques & Art Avant-Garde Greenwich will be held at the recently renovated Eastern Greenwich Civic Center, 90 Harding Road in Old Greenwich CT, where free parking and a gourmet café will keep you enjoying the show all weekend long.
