Rehs Galleries, Inc. will be participating in the Chicago Antiques + Art + Design Show, Friday, May 18th – Sunday, May 20th; with a special opening night party, Thursday, May 17th.
Rehs is a fourth-generation family-run gallery specializing in 19th and 20th Century European and American art. They will be exhibiting exceptional works by Eugene Boudin, Federico del Campo, Montague Dawson, Daniel Ridgway Knight and Maurice de Vlaminck.
In 2012, the gallery established Rehs Contemporary, which focuses on up and coming as well as established contemporary artists. On view will be works by John Stobart, Julie Bell, Timothy W. Jahn, Todd M. Casey, Stuart Dunkel and Anthony Mastromatteo, to name a few. The contemporary gallery has more recently brought on abstract and impressionistic painters including, Hammond and Mark Lague.
Howard Rehs, the world expert on Daniel Ridgway Knight, will have two stellar works by the artist available for purchase and his wife, Amy, the world expert on Antoine Blanchard, will have an exceptional selection of works by the Parisian street scene artist.
Rehs is also currently working on the catalog raissione for Emile Munier and Julien Dupre.
