Aspire auctions just had back to back million dollar auctions; the highest grossing auction was in March with total of $1,145,003.25. The most recent auction ending May 28th made it just over the cusp of a million with sales totaling $1,009,251.50. Of the May auction 94% of lots sold, having 1119 participating bidders.

The biggest surprise of the May auction was lot 1289, which sold for $68,453.75, including the 15% buyers premium. This Chinese yokeback armchair was resting at a high bid of approximately $7,100.00 for days during the week-long online auction when last reported on May 27th. However in the last minutes before the timer ran out, the big guns came in and fought it out. The bidding history may be viewed through Aspire's website at www.aspireauctions.com.
