The Preview Party The 22nd Annual Preview Party on Thursday evening October 21st will again benefit Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. Every year, roughly 1,000 partygoers flood the aisles of the Armory among them New York’s most notable art collectors, philanthropists, and business and social leaders. The Preview Party offers patrons a first peek at the dazzling collection of fine art and antiques and the opportunity to support the hospital. Founded in 1946, The Society of MSKCC is a volunteer organization dedicated to promoting the well-being of patients and their families, while also supporting cancer research and providing public education on the prevention, early detection and treatment of cancer.
The Haughtons “When the Haughtons came to New York twenty one years ago and launched this show, they showed every American show promoter how to do it right,” says Lita Solis-Cohen of Maine Antiques Digest. As fair organizers and ceramic dealers, Anna and Brian Haughton have been leaders in their field for nearly 30 years and are widely respected as pioneers and visionaries in the industry. Although they are well-known for their expertise running highly-successful specialty fairs in New York and London, they are now focused on their general art and antique fairs: the flagship International Fine Art & Antique Dealers Show and Art Antiques London which was launched in London, June 10-16, 2010. Held in a purpose-built marquee in Kensington Gardens, beside the magnificent Albert Memorial and opposite The Royal Albert Hall, Art Antiques London proved to be a resounding success and will be repeated next year at the same time.
NAADAA From its inception, The International Fine Art and Antique Dealers Show has been held with the cooperation of The National Antique & Art Dealers Association of America (NAADAA), a powerhouse trade organization, founded in 1954, which is comprised of forty-five elite American art and antique dealers, many representing firms that have been in existence for over 100 years.

About Haughton International Fairs:Husband and wife team Brian and Anna Haughton, from London, have been a strong force in the art market for nearly 30 years as the organisers of four international fairs in New York and a fifth in London. They were the first to give a substantial body of top European and subsequently Far Eastern dealers the opportunity to exhibit in the United States. Throughout, the Haughtons’ aim has been to create “an international community of interest in art, antiques and design – one in which commerce and academia live harmoniously.”
They boldly entered the American fairs arena in 1989 with The International Fine Art & Antique Dealers Show and a line-up of exhibitors drawn from among the world’s most prestigious art dealers, including many of the top names in New York itself and, with them, a fabulous selection of high-end art and antiques. Taking place at New York’s Park Avenue Armory (Park Avenue at 67th Street) it quickly became one of the most important fairs in the world. Prior to this the Haughtons had already initiated their idea of creating an international forum with The International Ceramics Fair & Seminar, held annually in London every June since 1982. Art Antiques London will now incorporate The Ceramics Fair and bring in new and exciting collecting areas.
